Airbrush Retouch Illustration

Boeing offers marketing expertise to their customers. Promotional packages often included inflight photos of the customers airplane with the airline markings for marketing use. A typical airbrush project at Boeing starts with a 16" x 20" stock photo. Using engineering drawings and airline identity standards, the airbrush illustration is created over the existing photo. This airbrush changed the plane from a 747-300 to a 747-400 with longer wings and winglets added at the wingtips. The engines have also been changed.
